PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE FREE HANGING BLINDS AND ARE NOT SECURED AT THE BOTTOM. IF YOU WANT BLINDS TO RUN PARALLEL TO THE SLOPING CABIN SIDES, CHOOSE VENETIAN BLINDS WITH GUIDE WIRES.

These blinds are manufactured using 25mm wide slats, made from aluminium.

This type are 'free hanging', this means they are secured at the head rail and hang under their own weight. These are only suitable if the wall or doorway is at 90 degrees to the floor. If the wall that the blind is to be mounted to, leans inward to the cabin, please see our guided Venetian blinds. The control for raising is on the right and the tilt control is on the left and is a clear plastic wand. A safety cleat will be supplied, this will require fitting to the cabin wall.

These are Aluminium Venetian blinds and come in a variety of colours. The head rail (this is at the top of the blind and contains the workings as well as supending the blind slats) and the bottom bar, are colour co-ordinated to the blind slats. The ladder string which support the slats and the control cord (which raises the blind) are also colour co-ordinated.

The tilting of the slats is performed with the use of a clear plastic wand. This is kept to a short length which helps prevent it hanging into the cabin.

These freehanging blinds are great for hanging over doorways, as when stacked (drawn to the top) they only take up a small space, thus not obstructing the doorway.
Anything damaged in transit will need to be reported to us within 24 hours of receive and any other damage or fault within 48 hours of receive so we can have the chance to rectify this asap.

The products you order are manufactured according to the measurements you provide and therefore it is very important that your measurements are accurate.

We cannot accept the return of the goods due to the provided measurements being incorrect.

If you realise that you have made an error after placing your order, please email our customer services team sales@blindsforboats.co.uk, as soon as possible. It may be possible to amend your order, as long as the products are not in the process of being made. Once the product is in manufacture, we will not be able to cancel or make changes to the order.
